Dishwasher stopped working in the middle of a cycle, now the touch panel does not light up and is unresponsive. First I tried turning the breaker off and then back on. Using a voltage detector I confirmed that power is going to the dishwasher and touch panel. I checked door latch switch continuity and it is OK, but went ahead and replaced these parts anyway - door latch, both control boards, and the touch panel but still the touch panel does not light up even though the voltage detector tells me everything is powered. What else could be causing the touch panel to not turn on?

I have actually had to replace the wiring harness going up to the control panel on some of these units the harness is a white strip with wires going though it and if it looks black where it bends up into the touch panel I would say that could be your problem just open the door take the inside panel of and remove the touch panel to check the wires

I have the same problem but when you open the door the lights come on and allow you to change modes of operation. When you close the door the lights go out but dishwasher will start cycle selected. Sometimes will not come on at all. Is this the part Described above? (Frigidaire PC BOARD ASSEMBLY 5304475571) Edited by user Thursday, October 10, 2019 4:37:52 AM(UTC)
