Good morning i have a lg fridge with model number lfx31925sb/02 stopped cooling....did some research my compressor starts and runs for 5 seconds and stops....fans run fine and then in a few minutes repeats.....i think it is the start relay overload part.....any thoughts....ive search for the part but the picture of the one i find differs...looks like prior owner may have replaced compressor....are there differences in the relays....or should i go with one that is same
thanks in advance

I'm having the same problem with my Whirlpool ED5PVEXWS.
It is clicking every minute or so. I will attempt to replace a relay/overload once I can order one.
My question is, should I leave the fridge plugged in for the week while I order the part? It still feels relatively cold.
