So our 4 year old Frigidaire Professional side by side is dead. Wife said she thought she heard the ice maker doing something, then the next time she went to the fridge it was dead. Nothing, no lights, no error codes, nothing. I checked the outlet and there is power. Unplugged and waited 10 minutes, plugged back in and still dead.
I found the schematic, which is really confusing BTW, and I'm an Electronic Tech, so I'm used to reading schematics, but this one is horrible.
Anyway, I checked power coming to the main board, and it's got power. I also removed J9 connector from the main board to look for +12vdc. I got a dc voltage of around 13-14vdc, and jumping around a bit. Maybe because the connector was unplugged, so it was floating.
Anyway, that's as far as I could get on my own. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hold on a minute. I just noticed while looking at my pictures I took last night, there is a charred section on the main board. It's right near the 8 pin connector near the top left of the board. I don't know how I missed that last night. Oh yeah, and the power connector is unplugged because I was checking the voltage. 69tr6r attached the following image(s):

I ordered a new main board on Friday around noon. Got the new one by 9am the next day, standard Fed Ex shipping. I'm still amazed.
Fridge works again.
