I bought a used GE gas stove for my rental house (my cooking-snob daughter is moving in, and insisted she wouldn't move in if I left the electric stove :) ). As I was installing it, I noticed something I hadn't when I bought it - there's a uniform 3/4" gap around the oven door with it fully upright/closed. It's like the fixed portion of the hinges stick out of the stove too much.

Trouble is, I can't get into the thing to adjust/inspect/replace parts. The repair manual for this stove says to pull the warming drawer and remove the access panels on the sides of the drawer well. Thing is, unlike the manual, which shows the drawer guides on the bottom, the drawer guides (looking like full-extension file drawer hardware) are mounted to the sides of the opening, blocking those access panels. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get those darned things off. It looks like there's one screw on the front, and just a captive-tab arrangement on the back that should just slide out, but even with the screw out, it doesn't budge at all in any direction. Anyone have any clue how to get the !@#$%@%# drawer hardware off of there?
