Dryer was squeaking so I replaced the drum bearings with a kit. Once connected back together the dryer was no longer squeaking but seamed as if it did not want to stop spinning when I opened the dryer. I replaced the door switch and no the dryer no longer wants to turn on. When I turn the start switch it buzz but does not turn on. I take the dryer apart again and turn the switch on without the drum on, the dryer motor turns on as well as the heating element. So I believe that the dryer is working. I reassemble it and then it does not work. I take it apart again and it works without the drum. Not sure what is going on, but I believe it has to do with the drum. Please help.

You may want to verify proper installation of the drive belt. The following diagrams might help.

When I remove front panel and try to start the dryer with the drum on it tries to turn but does not: However if I turn the drum by hand it turns with no problem, so does the motor. the belt is on as featured in the pictures. dont know what else to do.

With the dryer fully assembled open the dryer door and tape in the door switch. Start the dryer by turning the start switch on. If the dryer would not start but will make a buzzing noise, try to turn the drum with your hand. If the dryer will start, the motor has gone bad. The motor kit Part number: AP4295548
