This morning I noticed my fridge is constantly humming where typically it is silent. I'm not certain if the noise is the compressor. I noticed the freezer is not as cold as usual. I pulled the back cover off the freezer to take a look. I found the fan is running, there is no ice build up, and the drain is clear. Photo below. I pulled power as to keep the compressor from burning out. What else should I look for?

This afternoon I cleaned the condensor coils as they were very dusty. I also pulled the cover on the back side of the fridge and plugged it in. I found the fan was running(still not sure the source of the humming sound). After 30 minutes the freezer was not getting cold at all, so pulled power. Any advice on what else to look for?

How do I know if the compressor is running or if the humming is just the sound of the fan(don't have an ammeter)?
