Hello,

The freezer light stopped working. I tested the switch, the light bulb, and the socket and all are in working condition. However, there is no light in the freezer. This uses a regular 110 v light bulb.

The service manual mentions a Bimetal thermo For Preventing Overheating of Refrigerator Lamp, but I can't locate it in any of the diagrams. Any help is highly appreciate.

Here is what is written in the manual.

1. When you replace the lamp of freezer, please power OFF to avoid an electric shock.
2. Please keep in mind you could get burnt by the excessive heating of an incandescent light bulb.
3. Bimetal is installed in the refrigerator LAMP. Check that if LAMP may be turned OFF by bimetal.
