I've been having frosting issues in the freezer and I narrowed it down to the ice door flapper curling problem. I bought part AP3672582 to fix the issue, but I'm unable to fix it because I cannot get the dispenser housing out to get to the flapper. I've been looking around online for days trying to figure out what I am missing but all I've found is others who are having the same issues but no resolution. I've removed all 4 screws holding the dispenser housing in, but something is still stopping me from removing the housing in the bottom right section. I've tried prying the section near the bottom right screw hole with a flat head screwdriver but I'm unable to see anything that can be keeping the dispenser from just coming out. Has anyone else figured out how to get this thing out without breaking it apart in the process? is there a screw somewhere that I can't see? Any reply is greatly appreciated, i've been trying to get this fixed for days and it is driving me crazy.

Yes, that video and every other one I can find removes the dispenser without issue. But my model of fridge has something else that is still keeping it from being removed. I've found posts in other areas where people have the same issue as I'm having, but I've yet to find any resolution. it's as if there is another screw attached to the dispenser in the lower right corner that is hidden or something.

Maybe someone put some double-sided sticky tape down there.

I really know very little about this particular fridge.

After months of trying I finally figured out the problem. This is for other people who have run into the same problem on similar models. The reason I could not remove the housing was because it was fused to the main body of the refrigerator door. After some continued attempts to get it to come out, I noticed that it was stuck near where the light bulb sits. My guess is at some point the light was left on for a significant enough time that it caused the plastic of the housing near it to melt into the outer housing. I pressed the button to force the light to stay on for a long period, about an hour, and then I attempted to remove the housing and this time it finally started moving and eventually released, but with a small portion of the housing still attached and fused/melted to the outer body. Once I fixed the flapper and tried putting the housing back in, I had to work it around the bit that still remained but it eventually went back in. yay!
