I have read many forums and watched videos but am puzzled I have a 2010 side by side whirlpool gold 6th sense fridge that is not cooling(enough). Fan in back of freezer is running, I can feel the airflow into the fridge. The fan next to the compressor is running. The compressor is warm and I can feel the vibration. I cleaned under, in front and behind the fridge and did remove a lot of dust (we have 3 dogs). To note things were recently freezing in the back of the fridge as its often quiet full. I turned off the unit and removed and clean everything. Removed the paned in the back of the freezer and did not see and ice build up except where the defrost bitmetal attaches to the evaporator there was a large chunk of ice. Now the it been running for 12hrs and is barely cool. Looking at the evaporator there is frost build up only again where the bimetal attaches to the evaporator and down to the bottom of the evaporator. I looked about 4 hrs later no more progress. Here are some pictures. Could it be my compressor is not functioning well or going bad? Any help greatly appreciated as I need to get this fixed ASAP before I leave on a trip.

If you had enough Freon, those coils would have a light coating of frost all the way across and all the way to the bottom.

You are very low on Freon and that means you have one or more leaks in your sealed system.
