I have a EV209NBTQ up/down freezer with icemaker installed (not at factory)
above lower bin.
This freezer has a large ice bin on a drawer slide accessed from the bottom door.
I have read other product reviews where one of the big complaints is mold between the 2 doors. It is located in mostly un-airconditioned shop in Florida.
It is creating an ice dam below the large drawer which eventually builds up and affects the drawer slide (and some water on the floor) and I can't tell if it is possibly water getting past the valve when another freezer's icemaker (plumbed in series with this one) draws water and possibly pushes water past the valve or if it is a defrost issue. The icemaker has been off. It is 100% not the drain as this does not have that drain grommet that gets clogged. This has a winding clear tubing run that snakes around the compressor and I've run water through the defrost drain there is no clog or restriction. Could a combo of running it on max and bad door seals result in icing on the inside coils and create this ice dam at the bottom?
If so can you direct me to instructions to test the possible failed components?
