I've got a Bosch dishwasher that came with the house and the circulation pump doesn't work any any cycle (norm/rinse/hold, etc). (However there is a faint hum when it should be on).

I am unable to find a troubleshooting guide that matches up with my model/configuration but based on smashing buttons, I got it to go into test once and it gave me an "H" code, repeated attempts of the same sequence have produced a test cycle that never ends with only an E0 code in the window. Additional troubleshooting included starting the cycle, opening the door after the initial drain, tossing in a pot of boiling water; still no circulation pump.

Before I yank this thing out of the wall and start throwing parts at it, I guess I'd like to know:
-Should the circulation pump run regardless of thermostat and / or heater inputs?
-Is there a capacator/starter for the circulation motor and how would I (safely) determine if that's my problem or the motor?

Thanks,

Marty
