Similar to another thread that was posted for a different model, our washer fails to spin all the time - leaving items too wet to move to the dryer. I report that this issue is inconsistent because some cycles will complete without issue.

We experimented by setting the machine to the rinse cycle (low water, no clothes), allowed it to drain, and then opened the door prior to it reaching the spin cycle. The machine immediately started spinning, but we have witnessed times when the door is opened during the spin cycle and the machine is not spinning.

The other article suggested that the problem might be a faulty door switch, causing intermittent issues. Another article suggested it might be the timer.

One last thing - we did a reset which involved unplugging the washer for at least a minute and then opening and closing the lid 6+ times in 10 seconds after plugging it back in. So far three cycles have gone without issue.

After working for a few days, the problem has returned. I can hear the motor running and the unit is vibrating, but when I quickly open the lid I do not see it stop spinning. Furthermore, there is little to no water being released. I do hear a click when the lid closes and it definitely triggers the motor to begin immediately after.

Same issue on my washer. Wanted to see if it was in fact the coupler, or the clutch. Thank you!
