Freezer section working fine, temperature range is -10 to 0. Refrigerator side temperature range is 37 to 43, regardless of adjusting settings, and at times has risen to 50.

I have had thermistor, defrost heater, and main board replaced within last 30 days.

Had different technician check unit yesterday. Defrost working fine, little build up.

When unit running I can feel air flow in freezer side, but only slight flow into refrigerator side.

Am inclined at this point to think might be damper problem, though neither technician mentioned this.

Suggestions appreciated.

Sure sounds like a damper issue. I would check air ducts into the fresh food side and return ducts back into freezer for be sure they are clear first though.

Thanks for reply. How would I check ducts to ensure not blocked? If you mean nothing in fridge blocking then the supply duct is definitely not blocked. The return is to left of produce drawer.

Easiest way is to locate the ducts and use a hair dryer to blow warm air thru them and make sure you can feel a good flow on the other end. A lot of times frost will build up in one of them and impede air flow. Gotta have air flow for it to cool properly.

I removed the damper cover. Ran hair dryer and could feel the air coming through to the freezer side. I left the cover off for 48 hours so I could see if damper opening and closing, damper appears to be operating correctly.

Freezer will be -10 to 0 but refrigerator side never gets below 38/39, even when I set refrigerator side to coldest setting. Cannot feel hardly any (if any at all) cold air coming through to refrigerator side even with damper fully open.

Sounds like your return is clogged up. Did you pull the evaporator cover? If not, pull it and check to be sure the coils are not plugged up with frost. Blow air thru the return duct and see if it got frosted up somewhere. If you open both the freezer and fresh food sides and check air flow at the damper it will likely be flowing well with them open if the return duct is the issue.

After running hair dryer through return a few times everything now appears to be working fine.

Thanks for the assistance, saved me money and aggravation.

Thanks again.

Glad to hear it's running well again. Hopefully this helps somebody else out as well.
