The defrost timer stops turning, so I have to turn it manually. It then may work only for one cycle or up to several weeks before it stops again. I've replaced the timer twice and the two new ones did the same thing. Is there anything I can do to fix this or should I just buy a new fridge?

I must live at the edge of the Twilight Zone. I wonder if the same thing will happen to a new fridge? :)
