Our 6 yr old Kitchenaid dishwasher recently stopped washing. It fills and drains fine and acts like the cycle completes but there's no washing. I ran the diagnostic cycle and tested the lead to the motor (pins 2 and 3) and there is 122V going to it during the wash intervals.

I suspect the motor is bad but I noticed on the wiring schematic that there is a motor fuse, however I can't find anything online about the motor fuse, only the thermal fuse. Are these the same thing? Also, if the motor is bad, is there any way to buy just a replacement motor without having to buy the entire sump assembly?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Brian, I am working on a unit with the same problem. When I removed the motor though, the impeller had come off the motor shaft. It wasn't broken, just unscrewed itself off. It also blew the fuse that is soldered to the back of the electronic control board. I will post what else I find later.
