KitchenAid Dishwasher Clean light blinking twice, totally locked out

Hi, our KitchenAid KDTE104ESS dishwasher stopped in the middle of a cycle (water still on botttom) and is now flashing the Clean light twice, and nothing I've tried has gotten it out of this mode. (I've tried resert sequences for other KitchenAid models I found on the web).
This model has the buttons on the top, so you can't push them when the door is closed. Does anybody know the reset procedure for this model?

In case anybody has the same problem, at least for this model (KDTE104ESS), the Clean light flashing twice means "Button stuck" or "control panel defective".
