Hello,

I have a 2006 Admiral LTF2112ARZ refrigerator from Home Depot (manufactured by Whirlpool I think). The freezer will not go below 20 degrees. This problem started approximately a week ago.

The condenser area was dirty so I cleaned it thoroughly but did not see any difference in performance.

The freezer fan is blowing air and the freezer dial is turned as high as it will go. When I pulled the back off the freezer, I do not see any frost on the evaporator coils but there is frost on one of the two pipes leading from the top of the coil. See freezer close up pic.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Thank you.

That's a classic low refrigerate sign. You have a leak somewhere and getting it found, evacuated, repaired and recharged is cost prohibitive. Sad to say, but time to go shopping.
