Hi, Looking for some advice here. My mini fridge just defrosted and made a mess. The the compressor kicks in, buzzes for a few seconds, and then kicks out.

However, when I unplug it for a few minutes and plug it back in, the compressor works fine and starts cooling the fridge.
BUT, as soon as it kicks out. That's it. It won't kick back in, it tries. But it buzzes and kicks in and out constantly and thus no cooling.

I checked the relay, its fine. The disc inside the relay isn't broken.
I bypassed the thermal overload, and it still does the same thing.
I bypassed the thermostat, still the same thing. It will work. but if I unplug it, and plug it back in, the compressor just buzzes and gets extremely hot. Too hot to touch.

I don't know what else to check.

Appreciate any advice.
