Is there any way of testing these theromostats? Maybe with a meter. The refrigerator just runs constantly and everything freezes up.

if the food in fridge section freezes up ,i suspect cold control thermostat is at fault .

Measure back wall freezer temperature, should be less than 10 degrees, if not you have refrigeration problems for a pro.
