:) I am on the forum with a similar question and am guessing the solution is the same. My burner stays on intermittently. It works at low or medium and then sticks on high. Is this the same infinite switch replacement?

Is this the same infinite switch replacement? RavenArtist, Yes, the infinite control switch is the most likely issue, based on your post description. If your range has the sane model number, and the issue is in the left rear "dual" burner, then yes, the switch posted here will solve the issue. If you prefer, supply us wih the model number of your range and which burner is at fault, and we'll be happy to research, and advise you of the correct part number needed. Thanks,

Hello,
I have a Whirlpool Accubake Duo (Model GR475LXLS) and the duo burner is stuck on high. I was wondering if you can refer me to the part I need to repair this issue.
Thank you, Henry

Thank you, Henry Henry, The part number for the left front "dual" element infinite switch is Part number: AP6014074
. There is a "basic" how to video attached to the part number in the AppliancePartsPros.com parts screen. it will give you a rough idea what all is involved in the replacement of the switch. Good Luck, and Thanks,

I have a similar issue on a whirlpool RF364LXMT (old model) 4 burner range. The front left burner is getting stuck on high also. What would I need to fix this please?
Thanks!

Thanks! Eibyer, You will also want to start with a new burner infinite switch. The part number Part number: AP6007658
, would be the part to order for the left front 2000 watt burner. The parts diagram also has a similar video with the basic replacement information. ** Make sure you remove power to the range before you start any repairs.** The part is in stock and available at this time through AppliancePartsPros.com . Good Luck and Thanks,

for the left front burner element. Most likely the internal contacts have melted or shorted together and aren't allowing the burner to cycle off and on to control the heat.
