Maytag side by side Ice Maker Auger will not shut off.It will shut off when freezer door is opened. After disconnecting auger,pressing ice dispenser pad, lights come on and ice chute door opens and closes OK.Water also work normal.

That is a strange one for this model. We need to find out where it derives it's power from via a schematic or wiring diagram. It looks like it's all electronically controlled through boards so which one is sending it power it the question

Disconnected ice dispenser pad connector and auger still keeps running.I do not have a wiring schematic for this model.Thanks kmart

Try disconnecting you dispenser control board and see if it still runs. Just a guess but if it doesn't that could narrow it down a bit

I think you should go with an appliance repair company, if you don't want to waste your time.

It’s the main control board on rear of fridge. Already had this problem.
