Hi-woke up this morning to a dishwasher that won't start.....I ran the diagnostic sequence, but cannot advance past all the lights lit. Replaced the control board about 2 years ago.....
If the daignostics cycle won't advance, am I to deduce the door switch may be at fault? Any way to test?
Cheers,
Paul

When you say won't start... no lights, no fill, completely dead, or lights flashing? Do other buttons light up at all? A door switch can be tested with a continuity test to assure it is functional. Let me know some more info and we'll see what we can come up with

Solved the problem (for now..). The screw sockets in the front faceplate have been slowly disintegrating from the heat. A piece of a screw socket ended up around the door switch assembly and blocked it from switching. I've put in larger screws to hold the faceplate on...
I guess that's why I couldn't rapid-advance the cycles in diagnostic mode ( all lights lit, but not able to advance.
Sooner or later I'll need to replace, but I have a temporary reprieve from a $125 part....
