My Kenmore front load washer (592-49127) has no power after two years' light use. I pushed the start button a few times to start the washer but got no lights on the display. I confirmed the power outlet is working fine, unplug/plug in did not help. This machine has been handled with care and only used less than once a week since purchase.
I did a quick search on the internet and many people have the same issue with their Kenmore washers, looks like it's related to the CCU which costs over $200 + HST. Any advice on the order of diagnosis would be appreciated.
Thanks, Hank D

Based on the history of this and many other units of this same variety you should consider replacing it with a new cheaper unit and not even bother with trying to get it fixed. The repair cost is likely to be about half or more of the cost of a new low priced Amana using old technology. Been there done that.
