KD, It is not surprise me. Such people just do not brave enough to say "I do not know how to fix it". If you know how to handle a simple tools then you probably can do it. Be patient, be careful and think before step in and you should be fine. You have to check the possible sources of the failure as described in the Service manual. Post the results. Gene.

Gene, Unfortunately, I don't know how to get to the service screens.
I am not sure what directions to follow.
If you have any more advice, let me know and thanks for the info so far.
KD:(

Hi guys, Gene, on my first communication with you about my L60 problem I posted a reset code.. "control+secure+#, S1234" It turns out that the "control" is incorrect.. there is no control button. "secure+#" (hold together for a 2 or 3 seconds) gets me into the service ID entry screen. S1234 is my service ID code. (7 press 4x to get to S)
The service screens allow me to do just about anything I want with this oven. Reset the error codes, play "off/on with the various components, etc.. very handy to know since a service call is SOOOO expensive@!
Hope this helps anybody else looking for answers.
Oh, and by the way.. Gene's post of the link to the service manual saved the day!
Thanks again....
Jon Dinner party this coming weekend... Why not put off til tomorrow what I have to do today.

If anyone reading this has a U60 code, it should be the same as the L60.
First, try to clear the code. To do this you must push and hold # and 'cancel' at the same time until the screen asks for an ID code. Then type in (using the key pad) S1234 (you get S by pressing 7 five times) Then simply press 'clear all' and the code should disappear. If that doesnt work then pull the oven from the wall by removing the door and unscrewing the stainless steel trim. Pull the oven straight out and attatch the pull handles to pull it completely out. Next, place the oven on a secure stand (such as a milk crate). Then turn off the breaker to all electricity in your kitchen and confirm the power is off. Then, using a 'Torx' brand bit, take off the sheetmetal cover on top of the oven. Download a service manual to your oven and check power to the fan as described in the manual. You can find service manuals on the web (do not use owners manuals) Next, check power at the Hall effect sensor as described in the manual. You just need a volt-ohm meter to do these tests. The manual describes it well. If these tests confirm the fan is not defective, you need a relay board. Dacor part #101559. I got one for $165 last week from Dacor. 99% of the time this is the problem and the boards are even back-ordered. Dont be critical of Dacor, the ovens work well. My advice is just to buy the extended warranty when you get one. Like any high performance machine, they run well if cared for by experts.

Hi Gene,
I continue to have the same problem as 530gonzo but i replaced my Relay Board and the problem continues. I'm still receiving an L60 Cooling Fan Error. We purchased our DACOR Double oven and only used the bottom oven a twice. We use the top over about 99.9 % of the time why does it indicates having problems with the lower oven that we don't use? I will never spend this kind of money on an oven again. You expect something like this to happen on a less expensive oven but not one that cost over 5k. Any help would be greatly appreciated....!
The relay board i purchase cost me 199.00 OEM part number 101559. If this wasn't the problem, then i think it's the cooling fan?
Marvin:confused:
