Replaced rear tub assembly with bearings and seal. They were installed on tub at the factory. Replaced because seal leaked damaged bearing and washer was banging on spin cycle. Washer still banging but not as load and less of it. Any idea why? Also, water dripping down on front counter weight. However, this was happening before I replaced the tub. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Joe

Gosh this is a mystery, but a couple of things.

First of all there may be an almost invisible crack or break in the support structure, and you may want to replace those parts even if it does not look like a problem. A broker support part is usually the culprit.

As for your leak, that is probably where the two parts of the drum come together or a hole somewhere, but more likely the former.

Wish I could be more specific but problems like your with these models are just very difficult to diagnose even if we were seeing it in person.
