When my dishwasher failed to dry, I found that there had been a leak down one end of the element. The leak had corroded the white wire connector (it literally crumbled in my fingers), the red wire connector is still OK. I have found the parts/part numbers for the element, the brass nut, and even the little, clear insulator that goes over the end of the element and the wire connector. What I cannot find is the little connector that plugs onto the end of the element. Do I need to replace whatever part the wiring connects to? Or the wiring (harness) between that part and the element? I really only need to replace the little plastic connector that plugs onto the end of the element. I just can't for the life of me find that part or part number.
Can I simply replace the connector (if I can find it), or do I have to replace that particular wiring harness, or replace the part connected to the wiring harness?

If I understand you all that you need is the insulator/protector that goes over the metal connector.
I would just not put one on.
The white wire should be Neutral so will not have a voltage on it.

Really? So I can just twist the bare wires over the end of the element and be good?

No You need the metal.
I thought you had that and it was just the insulator that was gone.

You should be able to get them at an electronics supply house perhaps even at Home Depot etc.

See the attachment.
