Very puzzling. We are able to run the washer a completed cycle, the lid unlocks so we are able to move the clothes into the dryer...then after a short delay, the lock light turns RED and then we have to unplug the washer so that it resets the computer board and then we are able to start another load, it cycles through completely then reacts the same as the lock light turns red and then cannot run another load until unplugged and resets.

What are my options or least expensive repair if I can do this DIY? Thanks in advance

Sounds like a problem with the electronic controls, and some parts are not even listed as available. And the parts are expensive.

I would continue to use it as is until it either breaks completely or you cannot tolerate the problem any more, and then replace it with a basic no frill NO ELECTRONICS top loader. Electronics have no place in washers.

You read my mind. We are tolerating it for now and will steer clear of these Genius Electronic washers....no need for high tech boards.

Thank you for response.
