Hi all,

I stripped my Samsung washer completely apart to replace the spider arm assembly (also replaced the rubber gasket between the 2 drums pieces and the front door gasket). Before I disassembled the washer, everything was working but it was making a loud noise during the spin cycle. I noticed 2 of the 3 arms of the spider arm assembly were broken so that was definitely the original problem.

when I put everything back together, the drums seems like it is trying to spin, maybe will turn 1/4 inch but stops. It tries that a few times but then displays a E3 error code.

When I remove the motor, the drum spins smoothly by hand, but as soon as I hook up the motor and try again, same E3 error code.

Can anyone suggest what may be the problem.

I appreciate any insight you can provide.

Thanks,
Joe C.
