I took every part that can come apart out and cleaned everything. I removed and checked the float switch for continuity with the ohm meter and its good. Last, I turned on the washer and it started to fill, immediately disconnected the power and the water continued to fill. the only way to stop it is to turn the valve off from the supply under the sink. I don't know much about dishwashers so i'm thinking it's the valve in the dishwasher itself. what am i missing? I greatly appreciate any help.
