Just redid kitchen, with new under the counter 10 inch deep sink, with new drain pipes underneath. I have a new Whirlpool diswasher that I connected the drain to a tee above the trap, and I loop the remaining line. Everything works fine, except the water backs up into the sink when the dishwasher drains. Is the sink to deep that I need lower the tee? Or should I put the sink drain stopper down when the diswashwer is on? The dishwasher is dry when done.

Is the sink to deep that I need lower the tee? You may have to. Check/clean the trap. Is it a T or a TY. A TY will direct the water down towards the trap.
