Washer dryer combo is in good condition was hardly used. Just started acting up a few days ago. During the spin its adding water and even when the wash cycle is complete it still adds water for maybe 20 seconds or so. Leaving water in the bottom of the drum and clothes soaked.

Your model number is incomplete, but on many machines the timer adds water at the beginning of the spin cycle to rinse suds off of the clothes before spinning them out.

So it is possible that your timer is the issue and is incorrectly adding water after the cycle is finished. Try replacing the timer and see if that doesn't fix things. In the meantime you could turn off the water at the end of the cycle and then put the machine on spin which will get you through your washing until you fix it.t

No I don't understand how that would have affected it at all, except that if you switched hoses on the valves and turned off the hot you should have no rinse water at all unless you have a warm rinse setting in which case you would have gotten a cold wash and a cold rinse.
