I have a 10 year old sears Kenmore glasstop oven and the burners on top of stove all work, but when I try to turn oven on and hit the bake button after 3 seconds it shuts itself off and F31 flashes...I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in but still does it...

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

F31 looks like an open oven sensor.

Below is a link with info on how to check it.
Look at 7, 8, 20 and 21.
http://www.applianceaid.com/ele...-range-repair-topics.php

If the sensor checks out OK check the wiring to the control board and the connection for it on the control board. Could be a bad solder joint etc.

If all OK odds are that the control board is bad.
