Just replaced the motor in my Maytag due to bad bearings, and now when I power it back up, if the dryer is in air fluff, I can hear the timer clicking, and in heat nothing. This is before I try to press the start button, which does nothing. I followed the wiring directions on the replacement motor (not an exact replacement, but a genuine whirlpool motor, and the current replacement with slightly different wiring). The start button does nothing. Reversing the red and yellow wires (opposite sides of the start switch) lets me press teh start switch to hear the timer, but still no motor activity.

I would appreciate any help. Thanks
