What I have is a Electrolux/Frigidaire stacked electric front loading Washer and electric dryer.A little over 5 years old. Maybe 2 loads a week so very light usage. I've been extremely happy with it till now. Moved and it sat in storage for 6 months, when I reinstalled it it made alot of noise but seeemed to calm down and work right. then it started to get stuck after the wash cycle. I tried the delicate, short, color cycles and it would always get stuck in the same place so I would stop and click it to start the rinse/spin cycle. That worked for about 10 loads. Not anymore. Just the fill and drain cycle works. I tried all the wash selections same thing.Now it actually goes thru all cycles without getting stuck. On the short wash it takes 5 minutes to complete. So what it's doing is filling with water moving to wash cycle the drum doesn't agitate anymore then off to rinse where it fills with water again but no agitation, drains and moves to final spin. No movement. then ends cycle and signals with buzzer that it's finished. I hope I can fix this myself. I love my washer and can't afford a new one. Somebody please help me.:confused:

Thanks for answering. My model is a GLEH1642FS4. So I changed out the timer still goes thru all the cycles without the drum moving. Same thing as before. It does the fill and drain cycle fine. Could it be the belt? It was making some screeching noises again. I'm in close quarters so I haven't yet pulled the back off to check. Is there anything else I should Check? Whatever moves the drum is what I think may be the problem. It sounds like whats making that noise needs to be oiled. Not ready to give up yet!
