The oven takes over 1 hour to reach a temperature of 350, after which at times - but not always - may cool to 250 or less.
Should I change the temperature probe or the clock-timer block, or both? Thanks, Zuan

Here are your parts Parts for Frigidaire FEF455BBC Range - AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for a wiring diagram. The other attachment is some tech info I am assuming the problem is with the main oven. Does the broil element work in broil? When preheating it do the bake and broil elements work? The unit switches back and forth between the elements (see FEF455tech) as this provides a more even temperature gradient in the oven. Another symptom of one element being bad is when you bake things they burn in some area and are w-raw in others. You could unplug the unit and then check both elements for continuity. They should be around 20 ohms. The oven sensor can be checked with a meter. it should be about 1100 ohms at room temperature. |
