Started with the agitator, wasnt agitating the clothes, bought a new part, a plastic/ teflon piece that is like a puzzle piece for the actual agitator that sits on top of the spindle in the middle of the tub, part worked for a while, then it started spinning again with no agitation, looked closer. Found that the motor was spinning, belt was turning the big wheel in the back under the tub, spindle in the middle of tub inside washer was spinning, but it made a slight grinding noise. so now what? i figure its a bearing thats gone out, or some sort of protective bushing. first i need to know how to take it apart to look at it. but first i need to know am i sniffing into the right area? if so how do i take the tub out without screwing anything up, everything so far has been pretty easy.

Thanks for any and all help.
