My refrigerator stopped cooling the bottom and freezer the other day. At first i thought it might be the Relay and the capacitor, but I changed the relay and that didn't help.
My compressor is very hot to the touch, so my next thought was a fan issue. The only problem with this is it simply doesn't have a fan. I mentioned this to a few friends, a few that actually know about these types of things and they all were baffled.
The info that i have through them and searching the net is basically the issue might be..
Coils on the back (no coils under inside) need to be cleaned.
Issue possible with the drain pan underneath (stagnant nasty smelling right now).
Move it further from the wall.
Turn down the cooling control
The coils on the back aren't really all that dirty, but i plan on cleaning them today.
I wanted to see if that makes any sense to anyone here, or could there possibly be some sort of component that needs to be replaced.
Thanks for the help!

I forgot to add that the refrigerator will work when I have a box fan blowing on the compressor.
