Someone placed a heavy butcher block top and microwave oven directly on top of a brand new Whirlpool plastic tub dishwasher that was for under counter installation, but installed free-standing. The butcher block covered the entire top.
A week later, the top of the tub is caved in, with the fan hanging down, almost touching the top rack.
Is this a total loss or is there some way of repairing it?
The top is not punctured.

Try just pushing it up. Plastic has a memory so it may pop back to it's original position. |
