On both the "Normal" setting cycle and the "Heavy" setting cycle (the two I use the most) the washer stops when it is full. There isn't much soap in the water so I think it is after it has emptied out once and then has filled back up with water again. All I have to do is move the timer knob a little further ahead and it starts again. This happens maybe 75% of the time (used to be less often).

any ideas? thanks!

Well since there are no mechanical issues this sounds like replacing the timer should fix things. If you buy from this site and it does not you can return it.

Good luck!
