I've replaced the Hall Effect Sensor twice, and then the wiring harness. Each repair fixed the machine - but not for long. A few weeks at most. If it matters, I did the Hall Effect Sensor, then the sensor again, then the harness. The error has returned for the 4th time now. Really curious about the root cause, and why the machine appears fixed but then breaks again. Is it time for a control board, or something else?? Anyone else experienced this?

All ideas and input are appreciated.

These LG machines are great, but when they show the LE error it is almost impossible to diagnose the problems, even for LG techs.

It sounds like you may have a short somewhere that is causing a surge that is blowing out the hall sensor. But this is just a slightly educated guess. See if you can find a ground using a multi-meter.
