Hello again! Last December, I purchased a second hand dishwasher, hard wired the unit, and replaced some parts that were leaking with your help. The problem we have now, actually started in February, it's not cleaning properly. All the cycles appear to be running, it's not cleaning. The last run, there was still liquid blue Cascade on the inside of the door after it's full cycle. Is it possible the arms are clogged with scale, or some other problem going on with hoses? As I say, it appears and sounds like water is entering, washing, however things do not come out clean. It's an older machine, and was told it had very minimal use by the seller. Not sure on the water temp, however we only use liquid soap, with a rinse aid. Any ideas as to what I should check? Thanks for your time.

I cannot find any info on the given model number. Please check it.
Could it be a HDA3220Z04BB?
Could be a fill problem. After it has filled open the door and check the water level. On most of these older units it should fill to just under the heating element.
One way to double check this is to add hot water after each fill cycle. Just be careful to not overfill it. If it then washes OK you know that it is a fill problem.
Also often when it is a low fill the pump/wash motor will sort of growl as the pump is pulling in air (cavitating) |
