Everything on the washer works fine we just have a banging or knocking noise during the spin cycle. While washing machine was spinning and knocking applied pressure to the agitator and the banging noise disappeared. Removed motor and drive assembly. Clutch housing had some grease inside but the clutch appears to be ok. Transmission gears and interior appear to be working properly. Driveshaft shaft appears to be slightly loose in the bearing however I do not know if that is normal. Help, confused Thank you, egleye 58

If it sounds like this, it's a faulty transmission. Eric
