G.E. Dishwasher from 1991, GSD500P-35BA
Door fell open with a bang. After research I assumed spring broke. Removed the lower front panel to see 2 intact springs that seem OK & 1 intact cable & 1 broken cable.
I plan to order 2 cables, Part Number: AP2038829 ($7.79 ea) & not order 2 new springs, Part Number: AP2038347 ($34.91 ea.) Door was working perfectly until if fell open due to broken cable. So, I doubt new springs are needed. (Unable to post the rest which has my question!)
