Hi all,

I have Kitchen Aid with french doors and a bottom freezer. Every few weeks, the floor of the freezer fills with ice until it runs over the pan and leaks onto the floor. I've read the problem may be a clogged drain, but there is no drain on the floor pan, so I don't understand how this could be relevant. Am I misunderstanding something about where the the drain is and how it works?

Another theory is that feet on the front of the fridge aren't elevated high enough, so the fridge isn't tilted back and the ice/water leaks out the front before it has a chance to evaporate. Could this be the problem? I noticed that the foot on the side it leaks out of is lower than the other, so I raised it and am crossing my fingers.

Any other possible explanations/solutions?

Thanks,
Sean
