Had a power failure were there was some surges happening after the power went out.
After power was restored the dryer doe not start. Noticed that the panel showed first that lint screen had to be checked but that is clean.
When cycle is selected no time is shown on the display, when switching to steam cycle the display shows 3 dashes.
Any suggestions?
Is there a way to do a do a system check?

Thanks,
Johannes

I had the same problem. After utility power returned the display shows 3 dashes after rotating the knob. Trying the tech sheet diagnostics generated a different code every time I ran it. More than a dozen different error codes, many of them not even defined. Another sign is some functions of the User Interface Control Board not working; like LED's out and simple functions like the drum light not working.
The fix: replace USER INTERFACE CONTROL BOARD
