Hi,
The door on the washer keeps popping open during its cycle. I have tried it with a full load and no load and still pops open. I have been battling this intermittent problem for a year now. It also seems like there is a bit of resistance (like the door is binding with the door seal but cant see upon visual inspection anywhere that this is happening) you have to give it a firm push to latch it. Also it seems to happen most when it gets hot (why i checked the vent for the steam) I also tried with out the front panel on door to reduce weight and it seemed to work ok. Though im not sure if i just got lucky.
Here is a list of what i have done / replaced:
-replaced latch and micro switch for lock -leveled unit on all sides using a 4 inch magnetic level -cleaned any film that may bind with door -checked drain..clear - you can hear it draining during cycle. -checked steam exit.. clear -hinges seem fine no excessive wear or damage -linkage not broken
Only physical things i haven't changed is:
the inner /outter seal linkage and pulleys
Any Ideas??
Thanks Fellas
Regards,
Jay
