Thermal Fuse Keeps Blowing w/o venting obstruction.

My dryer has blown three thermal fuses on three loads of drying. A technician came and replaced the thermal fuse, told me to ensure the venting was cleaned and unobstructed. My dryer vents through the roof of my house. I cleaned the the vents and the fuse blew a second time and the clothes were extremely hot. The technician returned and had a devise that checked air flow. After hooking the dryer up to the exhaust, it showed poor air flow. He then took the vent off and ran the test again and the air flow registered "good". I did not hook the dryer up to the vent and proceeded to dry my clothes. It ran well. Three days later I went to dry another load, once again it was unhooked to the vent because I didn't want to blow another fuse and it wouldn't start. I think the fuse blew again, why would it blow again if the dryer was venting directly into the house?

Based on your recommendation, I ordered and replaced the cycling thermostat and thermal fuse and it is working like new with no additional problems. In my original posting I did not tell you that I had asked the technichian who came to my house if it could be the thermostat, in which he said, "no". I wanted a second opinion without bias and you confirmed what I thought the problem was.
