Error Code OD
Can't seem to clear this code.
Not sure what has caused this code to appear but according to the manual it's just a pain in the butt code basically. Usually caused by the machine not being opened before run again.
I have taken the cover apart - cleaned everything to make sure nothing causing a problem.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, Tupcat.
Does the lid locks on both sides? Washer runs for a bit and then stops displaying the OD or nothing happens?
Thank you.
Simon.

Simon, Well I can get it to lock by messing with the lid locks, but the code still stands. It won't kick the washer over at all. I do hear it "clicking" from time to time like its gonna cycle, but it does nothing. This happened once before right after I got it but that was cause I wasn't using he detergent(salesperson gave me crap advice aka use 1/2 amt of soap) once I got the lid cleaned up it has worked perfectly ever since. Not sure what the next move is, but willing to try any fix
I love this washer it's been a great machine all these years and I really hope for more years from it.
Thanks🐶

Hi, Kat. If both - left and right lid locks are locking make sure: a. There is no debris and soap scam preventing the locking tab to fully extend. b. That the small magnets located next to the softener and bleach cups under the top are still there. c. All connectors at the lid locks, main control and machine control are properly seated. If all checks as functional, replace the lid locks. Here are the breakdown diagrams and parts list for Neptune TL Model FAV6800AWW
The locks and the magnets could be found at diagram 03, ##16 and 17. Good luck. Please keep us posted with the results. Thank you, Simon. P.S. Keep in mind that you may return any parts purchased from APP.com with no hassle within one year.

Two magnets? Well that could be a big part of the issue - I only remember seeing one. Will look again when I get home.
If have to replace the locks - how do I get what I term the "mote" (where the bleach & softener cups are) off the washer without tearing up the finish?
Thanks for the insight - I will definitely keep you posted!

Hi, Kat.
They show two on the breakdown diagram, but it possible that there is only one in there. Get both lid locks and start with the left one (I think it's the one where the magnet is). If that will take care of the problem return the other one. To open the top insert a putty knife in between the top and front panels to push on the two clips holding the top approximately 2in from each corner and lift the top.
Thank you,
Simon.

Simon, Is there any way to test if these lid locks are shot or not before I invest in parts?

Feeling frustrated
