I have a Whirlpool dishwasher that stopped drying dishes. I noticed that the element is not getting warm at all, so I ordered a new one, compared the resistance to the old one, which was close but there was a difference, and put the new element into the unit. I tried running it again, same results, dishes not getting dried. I had the high-temp setting on and the heated dry on. Next I checked the high-limit thermostat. Cool it reads 0 ohms and heated it goes to infinity as it should. I am now at a loss as what to replace at this point. Any suggestions besides adding Rinse Aid which we already use and it is full. Could it be the control board? Is it something else? HELP!

I had to order and replace the thermister...$50.00. When I checked it on the machine the continuity test showed there was no continuity.
