Greetings,I have a Whirlpool top loader that spins intermittantly.I find that if I push the timer to stop. Then I remove the pressure tube from the bottom then simply reattach it,it will start to spin when I pull the timer switch to restart. The tube appears clean and the pressure switch was replaced about a year ago.Any ideas? Thanks Fred

Not finding much information on that model other than an operator manual. Assuming the tub is fully draining, it sounds like there may be some gunk buildup in the air chamber on the side of the tub that the pressure hose connects to. Try to flush it out using a turkey baster with hot water. The chamber is not removable. Be careful not to break the hose nipple off while doing this. The pressure switch must switch back to the empty position before the washer will go into spin. If there is gunk in the chamber or the tube, the air pressure in the pressure switch cannot release, or it may take a long time, once the washer has drained.

Since I don't have anything to flush it with I tried to clean the air chamber with a wire .The washer will spin but the water now over fills. Is this indicative of a pressure switch/tube/chamber issue?

Syphoning hot water out through the pressure tube eventually cleared the blockage in the air chamber .Seems to be working fine now.
